Dear Friends and Family,

We have begun receiving email inquiries about the family; wondering when the next newsletter will come out. I confess that I started to write the October newsletter a couple weeks ago, but I only completed two paragraphs. This is because I have had a lot on my plate lately, and it's been a challenge just to deal with the regular responsibilities of our rather busy family.
I have had "write newsletter" on my to-do list for a month now, but I simply have not gotten to it. At this rate, by the time the October one is sent, I would need to be starting the Christmas one. Therefore, last night I asked Scott if he thought it would be OK to skip the October issue. He said that was fine, and I am hoping you will agree. Beginning in December, I intend to be back on schedule.
Thanks for all your emails and prayers for us. We are all fine, and God is good!
